Robinhood Chain DEX Volume Hits Record $875M

Close-up of Robinhood Chain and Uniswap v4 interfaces with soft editorial lighting and a blurred market backdrop.

Robinhood Chain DEX Volume Hits Record $875M

Robinhood Chain recorded its busiest day since launching in July, with decentralized exchange volume reaching approximately $875 million on August 30. Data from the Wu Blockchain Data Center also showed a record 5.52 million transactions during the session. The simultaneous highs in trading and transaction count mark a sharp acceleration in activity for a network that has been live for only two months.

Uniswap handled the overwhelming majority of the day’s decentralized trading. Uniswap v4 routed about $432 million, ahead of v3 at $357 million and v2 at roughly $40 million, putting the three deployments at around 95% of total DEX volume. The concentration confirms Uniswap as Robinhood Chain’s principal liquidity venue, although the record session was driven heavily by speculative tokens rather than tokenized equities alone.

Memecoins Drive Robinhood Chain’s Record Day

Pons, a token launchpad operating on the network, also reached new highs. Wu Blockchain reported approximately $187 million in Pons volume alongside 22,600 tokens created during the day. PONS itself led individual token trading with $67.38 million across 135,566 transactions, while Cash Cat followed at $32.66 million. Nine of the 20 most-traded tokens originated through Pons, highlighting how launchpad and memecoin activity became a major contributor to the record session.

That composition is notable because Robinhood originally positioned the network heavily around bringing traditional financial assets on-chain. In its official July 1 mainnet announcement, Robinhood described Robinhood Chain as an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 intended to bridge traditional finance and DeFi, including through tokenized stocks. August 30 shows that the permissionless network is attracting substantial crypto-native speculation alongside the financial products central to its original strategy.

Real-world assets nevertheless continued expanding. Tracker data placed total tokenized RWA value on Robinhood Chain at $51.81 million, including $40.76 million in tokenized stocks, while daily RWA trading activity reached $165.5 million. Those figures show growing financial-asset activity, but it remained only one component of a day dominated by much broader token trading.

App Revenue Briefly Tops Ethereum

Applications on Robinhood Chain generated approximately $2.66 million in 24-hour revenue, according to DeFiLlama data cited in contemporaneous tracking. That exceeded Hyperliquid L1 at roughly $1.7 million and Ethereum at around $1.27 million during the same window. The figure refers to revenue earned by applications running on Robinhood Chain, not revenue collected directly by Robinhood itself.

GMGN, Pons and Uniswap generated about 88% of that app revenue, further illustrating how concentrated the session was around trading applications. A one-day revenue lead does not establish that Robinhood Chain has surpassed larger networks structurally, but it does confirm unusually intense monetized activity during the August 30 peak.

The next test is persistence. Previous Robinhood Chain activity also surged around newly launched assets before moderating, making repeat users, sustained liquidity and trading after speculative momentum cools more meaningful than a single record. For now, $875 million in DEX volume and 5.52 million transactions establish August 30 as the network’s strongest on-chain session to date, not a guarantee of its long-term baseline.
