GasFree processed 933,729 transactions representing $15.89 billion in transfer volume during October as the TRON-based service continued expanding stablecoin transfers that do not require users to hold TRX. According to JUST DAO’s October snapshot, the service has now reached 524,043 cumulative users while supporting transfers denominated in USDT and USDD. The figure is a cumulative platform metric and should not be interpreted as 524,043 monthly active users.
GasFree changes how network fees are paid rather than eliminating them entirely. Under the official GasFree architecture, users sign a transfer authorization while a service provider submits the transaction and covers the underlying blockchain gas. The provider can then charge transfer and, where applicable, account-activation fees directly in the stablecoin being moved. The practical advantage is gas abstraction: a user holding only USDT or USDD can transact without separately acquiring and managing TRX.

Better transfers start with fewer barriers.
GasFree supports USDT and USDD transfers with fees paid directly in the token, giving users a simpler way to move assets on #TRON.

GasFree Builds on TRON’s Stablecoin Scale
The October figures sit inside a network increasingly dominated by dollar-denominated settlement. TRON ended Q3 with approximately $92.35 billion of circulating USDT, ahead of Ethereum, while early-November TRONSCAN readings subsequently placed the balance above $94 billion. That large stablecoin base provides GasFree with an existing pool of assets to service, but USDT supply itself does not measure GasFree adoption.
TRON also surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume during Q3, with quarterly stablecoin settlement exceeding $2.2 trillion. GasFree’s $15.89 billion October total therefore represents one identifiable layer within a much larger settlement ecosystem. Transfer volume measures the gross value moved through the service and should not be interpreted as $15.89 billion of new capital, deposits or unique economic activity. The same funds can circulate repeatedly across multiple transactions.
The ratio between October’s transfer value and transaction count also illustrates the difference between payment infrastructure and user counts. With nearly one million GasFree transactions during the month, the dataset demonstrates sustained use of the service, but it does not disclose how activity was distributed among retail wallets, exchanges, payment providers or other applications. A transaction count establishes execution activity, not the number of individual people or distinct commercial payments behind it.
Fee Abstraction Extends TRON’s Payment Infrastructure
GasFree is part of a wider push to reduce friction around TRON stablecoin settlement. The network has also expanded into Fireblocks Flow for institutional stablecoin payments, giving businesses another route for accepting deposits originating from TRON wallets. These systems address different parts of the payment stack: Fireblocks expands institutional connectivity, while GasFree abstracts the native-token requirement at the transaction level.
The latest short-term snapshot suggests the service remained active around the transition into November. JUST DAO reported 222,262 transfers totaling $3.75 billion during the seven days ending around November 2, alongside 11,060 first-time users. Those figures indicate continued transaction flow after the October reporting period, although the seven-day window overlaps late October and should not be treated as a full November dataset.
GasFree’s October performance therefore provides a more specific adoption signal than network-wide stablecoin balances alone. What the data directly demonstrates is that users routed 933,729 transfers worth $15.89 billion through a fee-abstraction system that lets them pay transaction costs with the stablecoins they already hold. Whether that usage continues expanding will depend on recurring transaction activity rather than cumulative users or TRON’s broader stablecoin supply.
