Binance Adds Five bStocks to Tokenized Equity Lineup

Binance has added five new bStock markets tied to U.S.-listed companies and ETFs, expanding its tokenized-securities lineup with BOTB/USDT, BRKBB/USDT, KSTRB/USDT, TMFB/USDT and VSTB/USDT. According to the official Binance listing announcement, spot trading opened at 12:00 UTC on October 21, giving eligible users continuous access to instruments linked to RoboStrategy, Berkshire Hathaway, the KraneShares STAR Market 50 ETF, the Direxion Daily 20 Year Treasury Bull 3X ETF and Vistra.

The products use Binance’s existing bStocks structure rather than creating direct tokenized ownership of the underlying shares. bStocks are certificates representing interests linked to securities held by the issuer, not the securities themselves, and holding BRKBB, VSTB or another bStock does not place the token holder directly on the referenced company’s shareholder register.

bStocks Extend 24/7 Equity-Linked Trading

Binance says each bStock is backed 1:1 by the corresponding underlying security held through regulated custody arrangements. Eligible users can also convert qualifying direct stock positions into corresponding bStocks at a 1:1 ratio. The 1:1 mechanism describes backing and conversion, not legal equivalence between the certificate and direct share ownership, an important distinction as tokenized equity products adopt different legal structures across jurisdictions.

The exchange activated Spot Algo Trading Bots alongside the five listings and said Rebalancing Bots would become available within 24 hours. Withdrawals opened at 13:00 UTC on October 21, while Binance Convert added access involving BTC, USDT and other supported assets. Maker fees on all five new USDT pairs are waived through October 31 at 23:59 UTC, providing a temporary trading incentive rather than a permanent zero-fee structure.

The additions extend a product catalogue that has expanded repeatedly during recent months. Binance added four bStocks linked to BlackBerry, MongoDB, Penguin Solutions and a ProShares volatility ETF on October 14, after earlier introducing seven additional tokenized-equity markets at the end of September. The five October 21 listings therefore represent another expansion of an established product framework rather than the launch of a new tokenization model.

Each of the new instruments also has a BEP-20 contract on BNB Smart Chain. Eligible holders can withdraw bStocks from Binance to compatible blockchain wallets, separating custody of the token itself from custody of the traditional securities backing the instrument. That distinction also allows bStocks to interact with compatible on-chain infrastructure while the referenced stocks and ETFs remain conventional financial assets held through the product’s custodial structure.

Access Remains Limited by Securities Rules

The continuous trading schedule does not make bStocks universally available. Binance states that the instruments are offered through an approved prospectus in Abu Dhabi Global Market and are restricted to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions, while specifically excluding the United States and U.S. persons. The underlying economic exposure may reference U.S.-listed securities, but that does not mean the certificates themselves are publicly offered in the U.S.

That legal boundary has become more relevant as other tokenized-equity frameworks emerge. A recent U.S. pathway for certain tokenized stocks applies different conditions, including requirements around the rights attached to qualifying tokenized securities. Binance’s ADGM-based bStocks should not be conflated with tokenized shares operating under U.S. securities exemptions, even when both products reference the same publicly traded companies.

The latest rollout follows earlier bStock additions spanning companies and ETF-linked products and further broadens the range of traditional-market exposures available through Binance’s crypto-native trading infrastructure. What the expansion establishes is greater product availability, not equivalent evidence of liquidity, adoption or new capital flows, which will depend on subsequent trading activity, order-book depth and sustained use of the new markets.
