Binance Alpha added PONS and FLORK to its trading interface on September 2, expanding the range of early-stage tokens available through the platform. Both assets can now be traded using market and limit orders within Binance Alpha 1.0, rather than through Binance’s main centralized exchange spot market.
The availability was confirmed in an official Binance Square announcement and reflected inside the Binance Wallet interface. Binance specified that PONS and FLORK are currently accessible exclusively through Alpha 1.0, making the distinction important for users who might otherwise interpret the addition as a conventional Binance spot listing.
PONS and FLORK See Sharp Price Moves
PONS is associated with a launchpad operating on Robinhood Chain, while FLORK is a meme-based token. Both assets experienced substantial volatility around their appearance on Binance Alpha, although the timing alone does not establish that the platform addition was the sole driver of their price movements.
Secondary market data showed PONS reaching a reported all-time high near $0.52, representing an approximately 18% increase over 24 hours. PONS trading volume reportedly surpassed $112 million while its market capitalization exceeded an estimated $350 million, though those figures remain dependent on third-party pricing and circulating-supply data.
FLORK also recorded a sharp move following its Alpha addition. Third-party reports indicated that FLORK climbed roughly 80% and briefly reached a market capitalization near $17.5 million before giving back part of those gains.
Those estimates should be treated cautiously because newly traded tokens can experience rapid changes in liquidity, circulating supply calculations and price discovery. Thin markets can amplify percentage moves and produce substantial differences between data providers, particularly during the first stages of broader trading access.
Alpha Listing Does Not Mean Binance Spot Listing
Binance Alpha serves as an early-access trading environment and is separate from the exchange’s primary spot marketplace. The inclusion of PONS and FLORK on Alpha should therefore not be interpreted as confirmation of a future Binance spot listing, since no such move was announced.
The company has also disclosed no commercial partnership or formal relationship with either FLORK’s developers or the team behind the PONS launchpad. Binance’s announcement was limited to making the tokens technically available for trading through Alpha 1.0, without attaching broader endorsement or partnership claims to either project.
The immediate development is expanded access rather than a change in the tokens’ underlying fundamentals. PONS and FLORK now have additional distribution through Binance Alpha, but their longer-term liquidity and market performance will depend on trading activity beyond the initial volatility surrounding their addition.
