Fetch.ai has launched a new tool that allows users to create autonomous AI agents in as little as 20 seconds using prompt-based instructions. The release is designed to reduce the technical friction involved in building agentic applications, shifting more of the setup process away from manual development and toward natural-language configuration.
In an official announcement from Fetch.ai, the project said users can generate agents through its Agentverse platform by describing what they want the software to do. The prompt-driven workflow represents another step toward making autonomous-agent deployment accessible to users without requiring extensive coding or infrastructure configuration.

Agentverse Pushes Toward Faster Agent Deployment
The 20-second creation target represents a substantial reduction from earlier Fetch.ai tooling, which the project previously described as allowing developers to build and deploy agents within minutes. The latest iteration moves Agentverse closer to an automated creation model in which prompts handle much of the initial agent configuration.
The development builds on Fetch.ai’s broader effort to simplify deployment through tools such as the Agentverse SDK. Previous versions introduced streamlined local deployment workflows, including one-line setup capabilities. The new interface extends that simplification from developer tooling toward a more user-facing prompt experience.
Deployment speed, however, is only one measure of an agent platform’s usefulness. An agent created in seconds still needs access to reliable tools, data sources and other services to perform meaningful autonomous tasks, making integration capabilities more important than creation time alone.
Fetch.ai Expands Its Agentic AI Stack
Fetch.ai has also been developing multi-agent infrastructure through its ASI ecosystem, where autonomous agents can communicate and coordinate across workflows. The wider strategy is to move beyond isolated AI assistants toward networks of software agents capable of performing tasks and interacting with one another.
The new builder could lower the barrier for experimenting with that infrastructure by allowing more users to create agents before deciding how deeply to customize them. A simpler onboarding process may increase experimentation across Agentverse, although faster agent creation does not by itself guarantee sustained network usage.
The tool is currently available through Agentverse for users interested in testing the prompt-based workflow. Its longer-term significance will depend on whether rapidly generated agents can perform useful recurring tasks after the initial creation process, rather than on the 20-second deployment metric alone.
