KuCoin will list GNOT, the native token of the Gno.land smart contract network, with spot trading scheduled to begin on September 16. The GNOT/USDT market will open at 14:00 UTC following a one-hour call auction, expanding centralized exchange access to the asset as Gno.land advances its 2026 mainnet rollout.
According to KuCoin’s official listing announcement, GNOT deposits are already available through the Gno.land Mainnet, while the call auction will run from 13:00 to 14:00 UTC on September 16. Withdrawals are scheduled to open at 10:00 UTC on September 17. KuCoin describes the listing as a “World Premiere,” although that designation is the exchange’s own listing label.
GNOT Trading Opens Alongside Gno.land Mainnet Expansion
KuCoin will also make GNOT available through its automated trading infrastructure once spot trading begins. Supported tools will include Spot Grid, Infinity Grid, DCA, Smart Rebalance, Spot Martingale, Spot Grid AI Plus and AI Spot Trend, allowing users to deploy several automated strategies around the new GNOT/USDT market.
GNOT serves as the native asset of Gno.land and is used for storage deposits, contract execution and cross-chain interactions. The token has a fixed maximum supply of 1.333 billion GNOT, according to the listing materials, while Gno.land’s public token-sale documentation indicates that roughly 14.8% of supply was expected to circulate at the token generation stage.
Gno.land was created by NewTendermint and founded by Jae Kwon, a co-founder of Cosmos and Tendermint. Its programming environment centers on Gno, an interpreted language designed to remain closely compatible with Go, allowing developers familiar with Go to work with blockchain applications without adopting an entirely unrelated smart contract language. Gno.land documentation describes Gno as roughly 99% identical to Go.
Gno.land Targets Transparent On-Chain Applications
A defining element of the platform is how application code is published. Gno.land requires smart contracts to expose their complete source code on-chain, making applications directly inspectable and allowing developers to audit, reuse or fork existing packages. The network also supports reusable on-chain libraries as part of its approach to composable application development.
The listing arrives as Gno.land moves beyond the beta phase it entered earlier this year. Gno.land launched its Beta Mainnet in March 2026 and subsequently targeted the third quarter for its broader Mainnet launch, including protocol-level GNOT transfers and expanded interoperability. Its current documentation identifies gnoland-1 as the production network, distinguishing it from the experimental testnets used throughout development.
KuCoin’s listing therefore gives GNOT a centralized trading venue at the same time the native asset becomes more operationally relevant to the network. The next concrete milestone is the opening of GNOT/USDT trading at 14:00 UTC on September 16, followed by withdrawals the next day and the emergence of market liquidity around the newly transferable native token.
