PancakeSwap Hook Powers Four.meme Stock Meme Liquidity Migration

PancakeSwap Hook Powers Four.meme Stock Meme Liquidity Migration

PancakeSwap’s Shared Inventory Hook is now powering a new liquidity migration system for Stock Memes launched through Four.meme, allowing markets initially paired with 4Stock products to transition to corresponding bStocks when they become available. The mechanism is designed to preserve liquidity continuity without requiring creators or token holders to manually migrate their positions. Four.meme confirmed the integration as part of an update to its Stock Meme infrastructure on BNB Chain.

According to PancakeSwap’s official announcement, the implementation uses the Shared Inventory Hook built for PancakeSwap Infinity. Four.meme says a newly graduated Stock Meme initially opens its primary market as Meme/4Stock. Once a matching bStock launches, primary liquidity moves in one step to a Meme/bStock market while the same meme-token inventory supports the transition.

Shared Inventory Reduces Liquidity Fragmentation

The structure addresses a specific problem created when a token’s original quote asset is replaced. Opening a second independent pool could split liquidity between the old and new markets, weakening depth and potentially creating divergent pricing. Four.meme instead maintains only one primary pool at a time. The stated objective is to keep price discovery and available depth continuous while preserving compatibility with DEX aggregators throughout the migration.

The mechanism builds on the Shared Inventory Hook PancakeSwap introduced for Infinity. In its original implementation, an operator funds a common inventory that can inject liquidity just in time into supported markets rather than dedicating separate capital to every pair. Retail LP liquidity remains separate from this shared inventory, meaning SIH should not be interpreted as combining every liquidity provider’s assets into one common balance.

PancakeSwap had already expanded Shared Inventory across tokenized-asset markets, with live tests showing a single balance supporting multiple trading pairs. Subsequent performance data showed the system expanding to 10 RWA markets. Four.meme applies the same programmable infrastructure to a different problem: maintaining liquidity as the quote asset underlying a Stock Meme market changes.

Four.meme Bridges 4Stock and bStock Markets

Four.meme introduced 4Stock to provide stock-linked assets on BNB Chain before equivalent bStocks become available. The platform says individual 4Stock products are backed 1:1 by underlying stock assets and can later be converted into their corresponding bStocks. Stock Memes are separate speculative tokens that use those stock-linked assets as trading pairs; they do not themselves represent equity ownership.

That distinction makes the liquidity migration operationally relevant. When the underlying market progresses from 4Stock to bStock, the associated meme no longer needs to establish an entirely independent liquidity base around the new quote asset. The update arrives as PancakeSwap expands its tokenized-asset footprint, including additional bStock trading markets and an Infinity architecture that has already processed more than $150 billion in cumulative volume. The Four.meme integration demonstrates a concrete use of Infinity hooks for managing market structure rather than simply adding another trading pair.

PancakeSwap Infinity enables these extensions through modular hooks attached to pools, while its singleton architecture and flash accounting handle execution and settlement more efficiently across transactions. The Shared Inventory deployment shows how that modular design can be used to control where liquidity is sourced and how a market transitions between quote assets without modifying Infinity’s core contracts.

The immediate result is narrower than a general increase in liquidity: Four.meme now has an automated path for moving qualifying Stock Meme markets from 4Stock to bStock while attempting to preserve trading continuity. Whether the design materially improves spreads, depth and capital efficiency will depend on live migration data rather than the integration alone.
