OKX to list GRVT/USDT spot trading on July 30

OKX has added GRVT to its spot market, opening the GRVT/USDT pair at 14:00 UTC on July 30, 2026. The listing followed a staged rollout that separated deposits, price discovery, continuous trading and withdrawals, giving the exchange control over how liquidity entered the new market during its opening hours.

GRVT deposits became available at 03:00 UTC, followed by a call auction from 13:00 to 14:00 UTC. Spot trading opened when the auction concluded, while withdrawals were scheduled to begin at 16:00 UTC. The four-stage timetable was designed to establish an opening market before users could freely trade and remove the asset from the platform.

Call Auction Establishes the Opening Price

During OKX’s call auction, eligible users could submit limit buy and sell orders, but those orders were not executed immediately. Instead, the exchange collected them and calculated a single opening price intended to maximize executable trading volume. The auction concentrated initial price discovery into a defined one-hour window rather than allowing continuous trading to begin from an empty order book.

Orders could be placed, canceled or modified during most of the auction, but cancellations and changes were disabled during its final five minutes. Any eligible orders that remained unfilled stayed active after continuous trading began. The mechanism reduces disorder at launch without guaranteeing stable pricing or deep liquidity once regular trading starts.

OKX also imposed additional controls around the market opening. Market orders were unavailable during the first five minutes after the auction, while the exchange applied price-limit rules based initially on the auction result or recent closing prices until a stable index became available. These restrictions were intended to limit abrupt execution and abnormal bids during the pair’s most volatile opening period.

The exchange retains discretion to modify its price-control parameters or change the calculation method in response to market conditions. GRVT’s initial trading environment therefore depends partly on OKX’s internal risk systems, including order restrictions, index formation and the timing of deposit and withdrawal services.

Listing Expands Access to GRVT’s Membership Token

GRVT is the native token of Grvt, an onchain platform combining trading, yield-bearing balances and investment products. The project describes the token as a membership mechanism that can provide benefits such as reduced trading fees, improved margin efficiency and priority access to selected products. The OKX listing expands centralized spot access to a token designed primarily around participation in Grvt’s own ecosystem.

Grvt has established a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion GRVT, with no inflation planned beyond that cap. Its model is built around a unified account balance that can continue generating base yield while also serving as collateral for trading and investment functions. Those utility claims describe the project’s intended economic design rather than guaranteed demand or appreciation for the token.

The platform is built using the ZKsync Stack and presents itself as an onchain financial venue offering self-custodial trading and managed investment strategies. However, Grvt’s own disclosures state that its strategies are managed by independent providers and can expose users to potential capital losses. The presence of an exchange listing does not validate the performance, security or suitability of the underlying financial products.

OKX identified GRVT’s contract address as 0xAD29F2723fcdBcF665F210F25E06f97477e417cF. Users transferring the token must verify that address and select a supported network rather than relying only on the ticker, which can be copied by unrelated tokens. The opening of withdrawals creates additional self-custody flexibility but also transfers responsibility for address and network accuracy to the user.

Regional availability remains conditional. OKX characterized the announcement as a general update and directed customers to confirm whether GRVT and its related products are accessible through their local version of the application. The listing creates a new trading route for eligible customers without making the asset universally available across every jurisdiction served by OKX.

The immediate development is operational: GRVT now has a USDT-denominated spot market on OKX, supported by deposits, an auction-based opening and scheduled withdrawals. Its longer-term relevance will depend on sustained liquidity, trading activity and actual use within the Grvt ecosystem, rather than the listing event alone.
