Binance Adds GMEB bStock Trading Pair

Binance Adds GMEB bStock Trading Pair

Binance has added GMEB/USDT to its spot market, extending its bStock lineup with tokenized exposure linked to GameStop shares. The listing gives eligible users 24/7 access to an instrument designed to track GameStop stock inside Binance’s digital-asset trading infrastructure, removing the conventional market-hour limitation associated with direct equity trading. Binance’s bStocks platform currently identifies GMEB as one of its supported tokenized stocks.

The product is tied to GameStop’s Class A common stock, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the GME ticker, as confirmed in the company’s latest SEC annual filing. That connection gives GMEB a traditional listed equity as its reference asset while placing trading and settlement within Binance’s bStock environment.

GMEB brings GameStop exposure into 24/7 trading

Binance’s official bStocks platform states that each bStock is backed 1:1 by a real share and that users can tokenize or convert back without commission, custody or management fees. For GMEB holders, the model is designed to connect the tokenized representation directly with corresponding GameStop equity backing rather than operate as an uncollateralized synthetic price tracker.

The structure also changes when users can access price exposure. While GameStop’s underlying shares trade during NYSE sessions, GMEB can remain available through Binance outside those hours. Continuous trading creates an additional price-discovery venue during evenings, weekends and other periods when the traditional stock market is closed, although token prices can diverge from the underlying share price when the primary equity market is inactive.

The listing also broadens Binance’s push into tokenized real-world assets, where blockchain-based instruments represent claims linked to traditional securities. Rather than requiring users to move entirely through conventional brokerage infrastructure, bStocks place equity-linked instruments alongside crypto spot markets within the same exchange interface.

Tokenized access does not erase equity-market differences

The 1:1 backing is an important part of the product design, but GMEB should not automatically be treated as identical to holding GameStop shares through a traditional brokerage account. The tokenized instrument operates through Binance’s own product structure, while GameStop’s underlying Class A shares remain securities listed directly on the NYSE.

That distinction matters for custody, market access and the mechanisms through which users enter or exit positions. Binance says bStocks can be converted back without the fees it charges for tokenization or conversion, while the underlying equity remains anchored to the traditional securities market. GMEB therefore functions as a bridge between crypto-market trading infrastructure and GameStop equity exposure, rather than replacing the underlying stock itself.

The new pair adds another traditional-market reference asset to Binance’s tokenized offering and reinforces the exchange’s effort to make equity-linked products continuously tradable. Its longer-term significance will depend on whether traders generate sustained liquidity around GMEB beyond the initial listing period.
