BNB Chain Extends Zero-Fee Stablecoin Transfers to October 31

BNB Chain has extended its 0 Fee Carnival through October 31, keeping selected transfers of USDC, USD1 and U free across participating wallets, exchanges and bridges. The promotion subsidizes specific transaction routes rather than removing gas fees across BNB Smart Chain. The extension gives the network another month of fee support while its ecosystem is also gaining a larger share of the expanding tokenized-equities market.

According to BNB Chain’s official announcement, the campaign runs until October 31 at 23:59 UTC and has already covered more than $4.5 million in user gas costs. Eligibility depends on the asset, platform and route used. Participating exchanges include Binance, Bitget, MEXC, Ourbit, BingX, LBank and HTX, while direct wallet transfers on BSC allow unlimited qualifying USD1 and U transfers, two free USDC transfers per day and a minimum transfer size of $0.10.

Zero-Fee Coverage Remains Route-Specific

The October renewal follows an earlier zero-fee stablecoin transfer extension through September. For cross-chain movement, Celer cBridge offers zero bridge fees for qualifying USDC transfers into BSC from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche and Optimism, while Meson.fi provides a 100% rebate on eligible USDC routes that also include Tron. The campaign therefore operates as an ecosystem subsidy, not a protocol-level abolition of transaction costs.

That distinction matters as lower user-facing costs arrive alongside broader efforts to make BNB Chain a settlement venue for financial assets. Binance Research’s September analysis reported that BNB Chain held about $1 billion in tokenized stocks, roughly 34% of the category, and counted 1.8 million holder addresses, or 45% of the tracked total. Holder addresses measure blockchain accounts, not unique human investors, so the figure indicates distribution breadth without establishing an equivalent number of individual users.

A separate Token Terminal snapshot cited in early October put tokenized stocks and ETFs on BNB Chain at approximately $1.1 billion, around 30% of a $3.7 billion market, ahead of Ethereum at $828 million and Solana at $738 million. The 30% and 34% shares come from different datasets and snapshot dates and should not be treated as interchangeable. Both datasets nevertheless placed BNB Chain above competing networks by tokenized-equity value at their respective measurement points.

Tokenized Equities Add a Second Growth Vector

Product expansion has contributed to that concentration. Binance has continued expanding its bStocks trading lineup, while BNB Chain also hosts Ondo Global Markets products. Yet tokenized equity exposure is not automatically equivalent to direct share ownership. Binance states that bStocks are certificates representing financial instruments, not the underlying shares themselves, and holding a token does not directly confer conventional shareholder status.

Usage is also becoming easier to measure separately from issuance. Tokenized-stock on-chain transfers exceeded $100 billion in Q3, according to Binance Research, while the 60-day DeFi TVL ratio rose from 1.8% to 6.3%. Elsewhere, tokenized stocks have generated billions in monthly DEX turnover, reinforcing that market capitalization, trading volume and capital deployed in DeFi are separate metrics. Higher transfer or trading volume does not by itself prove equivalent growth in new capital or unique users.

The longer-term market remains highly uncertain. Binance Research modeled three 2030 tokenized-equity scenarios of approximately $61 billion, $349 billion and $987 billion under conservative, base and bull cases. The often-cited $349 billion figure is a base-case scenario, not a forecast guaranteed by current adoption trends. For BNB Chain, the nearer-term development is measurable: fee subsidies remain active through October while tokenized-equity value, holder addresses and DeFi usage expand the network’s role across stablecoin movement and on-chain securities infrastructure.
